Welcome to Sandy Dillard's
Home Page
This page is basically dedicated to birds and consists of pictures, lists  & links to and about birds, guides etc. The photos are from places around the world and my backyard.  If you have any suggestions for my page, questions about birds, info, or ideas for me please let me know and I will see what I can do. I have broken down the photos by trips and areas. These also have links to places we stayed, guides' email addresses etc. So I hope that you enjoy my page. I live in Texas near Texas A&M University and work for the Ocean Drilling Program. Therefore, I have managed to get pelagic bird pictures that most people can't get and I am currently working on improving my picture & web skills. Any comments should be sent to dillard@odpemail.tamu.edu. Recently I have join the Birding Pal group which is an email birder locater for countries all over the world, look them up (www.birdingpal.com ).

For the last 22 years, I have  birded off and on the Bolivar CBC. I usually have been given the duty of Pier watching as my territory and have utilized most often Meacom's Pier. Right now it is under new management from the last time I birded off of it, and he (Bobby) is trying to improve it significantly. Since this is one of the better places to go birding on the Bolivar Peninsula for Pelagics and Scoters, I think that it would behoove us to help out.
