Assembly of 10-3/4" casing on the rig floor. We are using this casing to keep the borehole open so that we can install a long-term borehole experiment to sample formation water as well as monitor pressure and temperature. Scientists will return in ~1.5 years to retrieve the data and install new water samplers; the installation is intended to be a permanent seafloor observatory.
