Note: Concentrations of calcium carbonate were estimated from the inorganic carbon values, assuming all of the inorganic carbon was present as CaCO₃. Concentrations of organic carbon were estimated from the difference between total and inorganic carbon values. Atomic C/N and C/S ratios were calculated from organic carbon (C), total nitrogen (N), and total sulfur (S) concentrations, respectively.
