Figure 11. The covariation of 143Nd/144Nd and 87Sr/86Sr in volcanic rocks recovered from Site 917 (Fitton et al., 1998a), Vøring Plateau dacites (Site 642; Taylor and Morton, 1989), Archean and Proterozoic intrusives and gneisses from the Greenland coastal areas between 68° and 65°N (Taylor et al., 1992; Kalsbeek et al., 1993), and mafic and intermediate intrusives of the late Archean Skjoldungen igneous province (Blichert-Toft et al., 1995). The data has not been age corrected. The field marked "High Grade Metasediments" encloses samples described as sedimentary gneisses (Kalsbeek et al., 1993). "Proterozoic Dike Swarm" outline metabasic dikes from Kalsbeek et al. (1993). "Proterozoic Intrusive Complex" is the Ammassalik Intrusive Complex (Kalsbeek et al., 1993). Other unmarked gneisses are from Taylor et al. (1992) and Kalsbeek et al. (1993). Samples identified by crosses are Lewisian granulite facies (G) and amphibolite facies gneisses (corrected to 60 m.y.) (Hamilton et al., 1978; Dickin, 1981), granophyre from the Miki Fjord macrodike (CL87-52E) (Blichert-Toft et al., 1992), and leucocratic gneiss from the Skjoldungen complex (324721) (Blichert-Toft et al., 1995).
