README.SGY


The SGY directory contains SEG-Y format seismic data. These data files have been processed with a bandpass filter and resampled at typically 2-ms sampling intervals. The SEG-Y format data is stored with an EBCDIC header. The file name indicates the date that data collection for the line was initiated. For example, file 950804A.SGY represents data collected from the line started on August 4, 1995.
