Many of the sand and silt layers show a fining-upward sequence indicating turbiditic deposits. Sections 169-1035E-1H-4 and -5 are characterized by intervals of altered greenish gray CLAY. 2 ҭ ҂ Minor Lithology: CLASTIC SULFIDES interbedded with SILTY CLAY comprise up to 80% sulfides. The grain size of the CLASTIC SULFIDES range from fine sand up to 1 cm sized clasts.
