The PHYSPROP directory contains raw and spliced physical properties data. The physical properties data include chromaticity a* (a*) and b* (b*) and L* (L*) lightness parameters, GRAPE (gr), magnetic susceptibility (ms), and natural gamma-ray (ng) measurements. In the filenames, the letters a-h indicate the hole and the letter s indicates the splice of each site. For Site 1062, spliced data sets for the east flank of the wave, the west flank of the wave, and the wave crest are indicated in the filename by "se," "sw," and "sc," respectively. Natural gamma-ray tables do not contain smoothed processed data. The columns of these files give the following parameters: Site Hole Core Type Section Int1 (top of interval) Int2 (bottom of interval) mbsf (drilled depth of core top in meters below seafloor) Raw value (where value represents unprocessed a*, b*, L*, GRAPE [gr], magnetic susceptibility [ms], and natural gamma ray [ng]) Sm value (where value represents smoothed a*, b*, L*, GRAPE [gr], and magnetic susceptibility [ms]) Offset (depth shift in meters which must be added to the drilled depth to obtain the composite depth) mcd (shifted depth of core top in meters composite depth)
