Note the logarithmic scale of the X axis. Leg 118 Unit IV (224 to 274 mbsf) is largely made up of massive oxide-rich gabbros. Leg 118 Unit VI (382 to 520 mbsf) spans the whole range of TiO2 content, from Ti-poor troctolites to oxide gabbros that occur as seams dispersed in rather primitive gabbro. The abundance of Fe-Ti-rich intervals appears to decline with depth in Hole 735B. Symbols are as in Figures F64 and F74.
