Note the abundance of recrystallized plagioclase (white) parallel to the foliation and dark gray alteration rims around pyroxene and olivine porphyroclasts and along the tails (mainly amphibole and neoblasts of olivine and pyroxene). Some Ca-plagioclase porphyroclasts appear light gray in the plagioclase bands.
