Sparker profile BMR05-163 (location on Fig. F7A below) in the northwest Woodlark Basin (from Davies et al., 1984) shows slope-parallel reflectors above a northward-migrating progradational facies that lies just below the sequence boundary. This unconformity can be jump-correlated across the Trobriand reef front at 151º10'E to unconformity A (Figs. F4A, F4B, F5, F6). The forearc basin sediments below are seen to lap onto the basement of the outer forearc high.
