We measured concentrations of carbonate in sediments from Hole 1140A on ~1 sample per core (Table T13). In addition, we analyzed 14 of the sediment samples for organic carbon, total nitrogen, sulfur, and hydrogen. The results of the analyses are discussed in "Lithostratigraphy".
For basalts that were analyzed by XRF, we measured total carbon, total nitrogen, sulfur, and hydrogen using the NCS analyzer (Table T14).
