This FMS image is a good example of the massive lava flows. The near-vertical
features between 296 and 298 mbsf correlate with features in the cores
interpreted as filled pipe vesicles or late stage segregations (see "Alteration
and Weathering" and "Physical
Volcanology"). Calipers C1 and C2 reflect the hole condition.
