Figure F11.
Close-up photograph of a fracture through a bryozoan-dominated skeletal
packstone in the upper part of Subunit IIIA (69.7 mbsf). The fracture is
infilled by darker grainstone rich in glauconite pellets and quartz sand. Based
partly on its reddish (oxidized) lower surface, this feature is interpreted as a
karstic exposure surface (interval 194-1193B-6Z-1, 77-85 cm).
