This readme file explains the secondary splice and affine data files for Site 1233.

1233_AFF.TXT
This file is an affine table for the secondary composite section at Site 1233. This file is readable by the Splicer (V2.2) software. It allows the used to load data with mbsf depths into Splicer and then apply mcd depths to the data. The user can then assess the quality of the splice and/or modify it, if desired. Columns in the file are leg, site, hole, core, type, cumulative offset (m), and a final column that indicates whether or not the core is in the composite section (Y/N).

1233_SPL.TXT
This file is a splice table for the secondary splice from Site 1233. This file is readable by the Splicer (V2.2) software. It allows the user to apply a splice to data already loaded into Splicer using the affine table 1233_AFF.TXT. The user can then visually assess the quality of the splice tie points using the data type of his/her choice. Columns in the file are site, hole, core, type, section, interval (top), interval (bottom), mbsf, mcd, relation, site, hole, core, type, section, interval (top), interval (top), interval (bottom), mbsf, and mcd.
