Fine-grained, schistose, colorless amphibole in the upper left corner appears to have formed concurrently with schistose serpentine in the center of the photo during late greenschist facies deformation and alteration of a gabbroic vein (Sample 209-1271B-11R-1, 88–91 cm) (cross-polarized light: blue filter; field of view = 2.75 mm; image 1271B_103).
