The grainstone grades up into a slightly darker interval (85-89 cm) interpreted as the mudstone top of a turbidite and then into much darker claystone interpreted as background hemipelagic sediment (83-85 cm). The latter is burrowed down into the underlying mudstone (Unit 2: interval 210-1276A-9R-6, 82-93 cm).
