part of the Pearl River Mouth Basin, which lies on the shelf and uppermost
continental slope northwest of the northern sites (PRMB in Fig. 3 for
bathymetry). These wells provide the seismic reflector sequence and
general age structure to be correlated with the more marine ODP sites on
