OPERATIONS SYNOPSIS*
Leg 189 began at 2000 hr on 11 March 2000 when the first line was passed ashore at
Macquarie Wharf, Hobart, Tasmania. At 1224 hr on 16 March, after an ~4 day port call, the last
line was released from the pier and the ship was maneuvered into the harbor.
