For the top 9 mcd, the points were obtained by direct correlation of Site 1233 magnetic susceptibility data to those of an accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS) 14C-dated sediment core (GeoB3313-3; Lamy et al., 2002). The other points were obtained by correlating a preliminary paleomagnetic intensity record with that published by Stoner et al., in press.
