OBJECTIVES: Conception Transect, Coastal Transect. To develop a Pliocene-Holocene

history of upwelling near Cape Conception, southern California margin.

DRILLING PROGRAM: 2 APCs to refusal, third APC to 50 m or longer if time

available. XCB to total penetration.

LOGGING AND DOWNHOLE OPERATIONS: Second priority logging objective. Standard

Quad Combo and FMS logging strings if time permits.

NATURE OF ROCK ANTICIPATED: Hemipelagic sediments with some turbidites.
