Objectives: Deepen Hole 856H or drill a new hole through the massive sulfide deposit and the underlying alteration zone

Drilling Program: Reenter open and unobstructed Hole 856H with either MDCB or RCB. Alternatively, drill-in a casing to isolate the upper part of the formation and MDCB or RCB to TD.

Logging and Downhole Operations: Temperature log, full Schlumberger suite, FMS, geochemical log

Nature of Rock Anticipated: Massive sulfide, interbedded hydrothermally altered basalt, and hemipelagic and turbiditic sediment
