Standard ODP practice is to collect magnetometer and 3.5- and 12-kHz echo-sounder data during transit to each site. No additional surveys are planned, though the new generator-injector (GI) gun along with the Well Seismic Tool (WST)-3 logging tool will be used for a zero-offset vertical seismic profile in the reentry hole.
