Objective: Located on the summit of a "megamullion" structure, interpreted as a low-angle normal fault surface exposed on the seafloor for ~100 km2. Farthest north site in the region from which peridotite samples have been recovered.
Drilling Program: Single bit penetration as deep as possible or 300 mbsf.
Logging Program: Two logging runs, triple combo and FMS-sonic if hole conditions permit.
Nature of Rock Anticipated: Serpentinized peridotite.
