ODP/TAMU is investigating the cost for hardware to install three satellite TV stations along with 6-7 onboard channels for dissemination throughout the ship. Video jacks will also be installed in each stateroom so the individual wishing to watch a movie or monitor the core logs/reentry/etc. will be able to do so in his/her own room. The system is being designed so that it can be expanded, possibly adding DSS in the future.
