Thumbs-up for a successful leg from Leg 188 scientists Alex Kaiko and Kevin Theissen. A night off Rottnest Island at the shallow water test site for the new station keeping system.

Underway for Prydz Bay in beautiful weather. Picture from the bridge in the roaring 40s! The beautiful weather was quickly replaced by low-pressure systems that tested the newly acquired sea legs.
