Core Photographs and Digital ImagesWhole-Core Photographs and Digital ImagesWhole-core photos are available in black-and-white 8 x 10 inch prints, 35-mm color slides, or scanned images (high-resolution TIF files). Requests can be made to the Data Librarian (database@odpemail.tamu.edu). Please include the ODP core-naming convention when placing requests (i.e., Leg-Site-Hole-Core).Low-resolution whole-core images (300 dpi; PDF files) can be obtained from the online Janus database (www-odp.tamu.edu/janusweb/imaging/photo.shtml).
Section Digital ImagesLine-scan digital images of the archive-half core sections captured with the Digital Imaging System (.sid) can be obtained for Legs 198210 from the online Janus database (www-odp.tamu.edu/janusweb/imaging/photo.shtml). These images can be viewed with the MrSid plugin or standalone viewer, both of which are available for free from www.lizardtech.com.
Medium-resolution JPEG images are also available for each section starting with Leg 205. Access to these files is subject to a 1-year moratorium after the end of each leg, and can be obtained by signing in with a moratorium username.

Requests can be made to the Data Librarian (database@odpemail.tamu.edu). Please include the ODP core-naming convention when placing requests (i.e., Leg-Site-Hole-Core-Section-Top interval).
