Classification of (A) brown and greenish brown vein amphiboles
and (B) green vein amphibole in Hole 735B (after Leake et al.,
1997 using the computer program of Currie, 1997). The brown and brownish green
amphibole is chiefly edenite and magnesiohornblende, whereas the green amphibole
is chiefly actinolite with lesser amounts of edenite. Representative analyses of
vein amphiboles and their cation proportions are given in Tables T3
and T4.
